Kelly Clarkson 'My December'tour announced

American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has announced she will be bringing her ‘My December’ tour to Australia in March 2008. Given that Clarkson’s 2005 tour sold out in record time and that Clarkson fever is again at a high, these dates are certain to sell out.

Clarkson’s tour is in support of her new album, My December.

“My December is a journal of my last two years,” she says. “The songs go from emotional ballads to fun rockers. I can’t wait to perform them live for all my fans in Australia.”

Clarkson’s debut alum, Breakaway spent an unprecedented 52 weeks in the ARIA top 10, was certified six times platinum and through hits like Since U Been Gone, Because of You, Behind These Hazel Eyes and Walkaway dominated Australian radio for 18 months. By project’s end, Breakaway sold six million copies in the U.S., 11 million worldwide, won two Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards, a People’s Choice Award and a staggering 11 Billboard Music Awards.

With My December ,Clarkson is set to repeat this success with first single_Never Again_ quickly rocketing to Gold status in Australia and second single One Minute the number one added song at Australian radio on release.
