Wed 12th Sep, 2007 in Local News
Chris Cornell will perform his first ever Australian headlining gigs this October when he sets up camp for a couple of sideshows off the back of his support dates for the Linkin Park tour.
The founding member and charismatic vocalist of Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog fame, Chris Cornell is an iconic survivor of the ‘90s Seattle grunge scene.
Cornell and his band will be performing material from his latest album the solo release Carry On (Universal) plus the classic and greatest hits of Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, and Audioslave.
Prior to going solo Cornell’s most recent incarnation was Audioslave, a collaboration with three Rage Against The Machine members that enjoyed enormous critical and commercial success including multi platinum sales of its debut release and a number one slot for its sophomore album Out of Exile.
Michael Coppel, FasterLouder and Beat present Chris Cornell:
Wednesday October 24: Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Thursday October 25: Forum Theatre, Melbourne
Tickets on sale at 9am Friday September 21.
