Custom Kings: At Sea and onthe road
Thu 6th Sep, 2007 in Local News
Melbourne’s Custom Kings are set to unleash their debut album At Sea.
The album, which saw the band again working with producer Stephen Schram ( Art of Fighting, Ground Components), delves through folk, swamp rock, summer jams, pop and almost everything in between. It is an album that refuses to be pigeon-holed, yet retains a constant thread that is nothing else but pure Custom Kings.
At Sea follows two critically acclaimed EPs, Where Do they Go? and Merchant Songs. The previous two years have seen the band build a loyal national fanbase through constant touring and also traversing the country with high profile acts such as The Cat Empire, John Butler Trio and The Beautiful Girls.
Meanwhile, the Kings will soon hit the road for a national tour to spread the good word. First single – œUp Late’ has already been instantly added to Triple J and just one of many reasons you’ll be sure to gladly join the Custom Kings At Sea.
At Sea hits the streets on October 6. ou can also catch the band in action at a venue near you.
