Rumours are circulating that Bjork – undoubtedly one of the music scene’s most enduringly enigmatic and unique artists – will make her long awaited return to Australia in early 2008 for her first Antipodean tour in over 10 years.

The Icelandic vocalist, whose most recent album Volta included production by hip-hop icon Timbaland and was hailed as a return to form by many music critics and fans, is said to be heading down under in February next year. At present there’s an unconfirmed citation announcing the tour on Bjork’s entry on Wikipedia, though there are no further details available on where and when she might be playing.
