Southbound presaleregistration opens

Registration for the exclusive ticket presale for this summer’s Southbound festival has opened. Earlier this month festival organisers Sunset Events confirmed mailing list subscribers would be given the opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public by registering their details online.

If you’ve already registered for the newsletter, you will have received an email with details of what to do next. After submitting your details, you’ll need to wait until September 3 to find out whether you’ve made the cut. Successful presale applicants will have from noon on September 3 until Midnight on September 9 to purchase their tickets. The remaining tickets will go on sale from Monday September 10.

The move comes after this year’s Southbound sold out in record time, thanks largely to the huge lineup featuring Basement Jaxx, Modest Mouse, Eskimo Joe and The John Butler Trio.

This summer’s festival on January 4-5 is the fourth installment and, even after just one lineup announcement, it looks set to be the biggest and best yet. Topping the bill are Kings of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Groove Armada, while Built to Spill, Girl Talk, The Go! Team and Jose Gonzales will also appear at Sir Stewart Bovell Park in Busselton.
