Two of the nation’s best loved pop rock outfits, The Cops and Expatriate are set to go head to head as they embark on a national co- headlining tour. FasterLouder jumps on board for the ride.

Both bands have dropped new albums this year, with The Cops’ release of Drop It In Their Laps and Expatriate’s in The Midst Of This both sliding into high rotation slots on triple j. Back this up with recent sold out tours and festival appearances and it’s easy to confirm that both bands are in top form.

“Expatriate are the perfect band to do a co-headlining tour with,” offers Simon Carter of The Cops. “I can hear a lot of similarities between the two bands in that they have a firm love of melody and groove, but we both come at it from two very different angles which I think will make for a sonically and visually exciting tour.”

“This will be bigger and brighter than anything we’ve done separately. Big nights out full of song and dance at our favourite venues,” says Ben King of Expatriate .

Expatriate and The Cops will be rotating the headline slot on each night so be sure to get down early to make sure you don’t miss out on your favourite band.
