If you’re picturing rolling green fields and a pinyoning Julie Andrews, you’re on the wrong track… The Sound Of Music is a new festival to be held in Sydney on September 30 brought to you by the creators of the Essential Festival.
The Sound Of Music, to be held at Sydney University’s Manning Bar and will be headlined by Glaswegian trio 1990s. This will be their only Sydney performance while they are in the country for the very first time, touring nationally to promote their debut album Cookies.
The festival will srpead across three rooms at the venue and kick time is 7pm with festivities carrying on to the wee hours. So if you’re in teh mood for an indie dance fest make sure to check it out.
Other bands announced on the bill so far: The Devoted Few, Belles Will Ring, Dardanelles, The Seabellies, Bird Automatic, DJs Knife, Loaded DJs, and Static.
