78 Saab new album and tour
Thu 9th Aug, 2007 in Local News
78 Saab have got to be one of the laziest bands in town (yes I’m blaming to you Stoltz) so it is with great surprise that I hearby announce the fact that the Saabs have finally got off their butts to release a new album – and to celebrate, the band will dish out their first live shows in over a year.
78 Saab will play two intimate gigs in Melbourne and Sydney in September, to showcase tracks from their new longplayer, The Bells Line which will be out on Ivy League this September.
The Bells Line marks the culmination of two years writing, thinking and rehearsing (and drinking at The Townie, no doubt) and features Nash’s signature sweet vocals.
If you want to be amongst the first to hear the new songs from The Bells Line get yourself along to one of the following gigs:
Thursday, Sept 13 – East Brunswick Club, Melbourne
Saturday, Sept 15 – The Hopetoun Hotel, Sydney
In October the band will take off on a road trip with Josh Pyke (the poor fellow will never be the same again)
The Bells Line is out September 29.
