Snow Patrol keyboardist facingdrug charges
Sun 15th Jul, 2007 in International News
Snow Patrol keyboardist Tom Simpson was arrested in London last weekend when he failed to turn up for his court appearance relating to drug charges. The arrest came just after the band had played London’s Live Earth concert at Wembley Stadium.
Glasgow Police are alleging that Simpson and friend Colin Kennedy were found in possession of a small amount of cocaine in Sauchiehall Street on June 24 last year.
Simpson was unable to perform with the band at Ireland’s Oxegen festival but was released from custody in time to play T in Park in Scotland.
Both Simpson and Kennedy will appear in court on July 31.
