Police tipped for Australiantour

After rocking the house at this week’s Grammys with their rendition of Roxanne, The Police have announced they will be reforming for a world tour later this year.
The band launched their comeback tour yesterday with a performance at the Whisky-A-Go-Go nightclub in LA. The trio, consisting of frontman Sting, guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland announced they would be reuniting to mark the 30th anniversary of their band’s formation in 1977.
The tour is set to open in Vancouver, Canada, on May 28 before dates across North America and Europe until late October. Aditional shows in Mexico, South America, Australia, New Zealand and Japan are expected.
