Axl Rose collapses during UKtour

Gun N Roses Axl Rose collapsed on Sunday July 30 during the final show of the Gunner’s UK tour. But can all those thoughts of big nights binging on booze or drugs. It seems Axl was suffering from low blood sugar.
The Gunner’s frontman was forced to leave the stage and was replaced for the final songs by Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach. By all accounts, Bach managed to deliver very convincing versions of ’Night Train’ and ‘Paradise City’.
According to a statement that was issued by the band after the Wembley Stadium gig, Rose’s absence during the last few numbers was due to the singer being “diagnosed with low blood pressure and low blood sugar on Sunday morning”.
The band had started the day early, playing a 4am gig for competition winners at Club NME. It was after this performance that Axl had been advised by the band’s doctor not to perform at the concert that evening, to which the singer had responded ”fuck that, I have a show to do and I am not missing it”.
Despite his no show for the last few songs, Rose admits ”it was an amazing night. I want to thank everyone in Europe and the UK for inspiring us and for giving us the opportunity to play for them. We are now looking forward to the US in September.”
