Stars Show Up In Droves ForThe Raconteurs' UK Debut
Mon 27th Mar, 2006 in International News
Is it any surprise that musicians and actors alike considered this debut show for Jack White and his new project The Raconteurs to be the hottest ticket in London town last week?
It seems that all of White’s old friends and accquaintences from the music and movie world showed up to add their support. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kate Moss and Jude Law were amongst those at last week’s Astoria show in London, and they were treated to a nice mix of new material that’s soon to be released, as well as some perfectly chosen covers, with White prancing about the stage with a top-hat and walking cane between songs.
The Raconteurs album is due for release later this year, their debut single ‘Steady, As She Goes’ is set for an April 24 release. More live dates and plenty of festival appearances are due to be announced for the band in coming months, so keep your eye out!
