Yeah Yeah Yeahs Pull TheSkeleton From The Closet

New York’s most infamous art rock trio, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, treated Los Angeles punters to their second night of sold-out shows at The Troubadour. On the night of the Oscars and post ceremony glitz and glamour schmooze fests, it seems that only the stars after some true rock credit were into ditching the after parties in favour of rock action from Karen O, Nick Zinner and Brian Chase.
The trio rocked the stage, with crazy outfits, thrown shapes and of course the airing of some fresh new track from their soon to be released ‘Show Your Bones’ album. Out of the bag came ‘Down Boy’, first single ‘Gold Lion’, ‘Fancy’ and ‘Turn Into’, which were liberally sprinkled with a host of older live faves from their 2003 debut ‘Fever To Tell’ and EPs ‘Master’ and ‘Machine’.
Among those looking on was Oscar nominee for Best Supporting Actress Catherine Keener (Capote). Stay tuned to FL for further news.
