First new Sebadoh songs since1999
Tue 24th Jul, 2012 in International News
Sebadoh have released a five-song EP featuring their first new material since 1999’s The Sebadoh album.
Three of the new songs ( Keep the Boy Alive, Arbitrary High, and All Kinds ) were written by Lou Barlow, who loves hipsters and hates the concept of credibility. The other two – My Drugs and I Don’t Mind – were written by Jason Loewenstein.
The five song EP comes with a disclaimer to announce that these are “new songs for 2012 , a taste of our upcoming 2013 album, but, NONE of these songs will be on that album.. i repeat: NONE of these songs will be on our forthcoming/in progress 2013 LP .. this is our first new material in 14 years ( wtf! )... proceeds from this will help us continue working on the LP and remain as independent as possible.. physical copies (CD) only available at shows on our upcoming tour.”
The EP is for sale for the princely sum of five dollars on the Sebadoh’s Bandcamp page or (if you’re in the States) you can pick up physical version on the band’s tour in August.
