Florence and the Machine’s MTV Unplugged appearance, set to air later this week, will feature an appearance from Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme as The Man in Black – well, as a man in a black coat.
Homme joins the group to perform a cover of Johnny Cash and June Carter’s 1963 duet Jackson, which has now been posted on Florence’s YouTube channel. The group also covered Otis Redding’s Try A Little Tenderness, so there’s a chance we could be hearing a little soul from Florence when she tours next month.
