Fri 30th Mar, 2012 in International News
Fucked Up leader Pink Eyes (aka Damian Abraham) is always entertaining on Twitter, but a recent tweet about Katy Perry’s Part of Me video has sparked a fearsome rage from fans of the singer formerly known as Katy Hudson.
Abraham tweeted that “Seeing Katy Perry as a soldier in ‘Part Of Me’ really makes me think that we need to start a war so she can go die” leading to an amusing flurry of anger, which the Fucked Up singer retweeted to his followers.

He later amended his comments noting that “Yes I’m aware my last tweet was kinda dumb but so is glamorizing war to sell records to idiots. Katy Perry Still Sucks.” And asked “When will the Katy Perry fan realize I’m not fat, I’m just big boned. Please remember to spay & neuter you cats. Thanks to those that get it”
The Fucked Up frontman’s Twitter feed has also provided excellent reviews of the other important pop culture trends of the week including The Black Keys, One Direction, The Hunger Games and defines the exact level of embarrassment caused by Madonna’s new album.
Black Keys:
“Black Keys = Nickleback for hipsters”
One Direction:
“Hey @onedirection… you guys could do with some lip sync lessons eh?”
Madonna:
The Hunger Games:
“Hunger Games was pretty awesome… albeit a wholesale rip off of Running Man. Hunger Games is more like the Running Man meets Phantom Menace #inanokayway #noBattleRoyale #exceptforthekidkilling All jokes aside, Hunger Games is a trendy movie that tells girls to stand up for themselves & not wait vampires & werewolves to save’em #rad”Abraham also offered some sage advice to other bands earlier this week by tweeting “BANDS: if you hate doing interviews tell your publicists not to book you for any… Or simply remember, it’s part of the job & get over it”
Basically the point of this article is – you should be following @leftfordamian. Get to it.
