Dave Grohl’s sitcom

Not content with leading the Foo Fighters, tormenting Courtney Love with his mere existence and staring in gay soft-porn videos, Dave Grohl has added television executive to his resume.
Grohl is developing a thirty-minute sitcom for FX with the help of The Simpsons and Family Guy writer Dana Gould. According to Deadline Hollywood, Grohl will be executive producer on the as yet untitled project about a rock band is threatening to split just as mega-stardom beckons and needs to seek professional help from a misanthropic couple’s therapist who is struggling with his own marriage.
There’s no word yet on which one of these characters Gould will play, but it seems safe to assume that Grohl (and Jack Black) will make regular cameos. And that the show will be far better than Fred Durst’s series Douchebag.
