NME Awards 2012 Nominations
Wed 1st Feb, 2012 in International News
For years Oasis fans have been debating two topics: Definitely Maybe vs What’s The Story Morning Glory and Liam vs Noel. Now, NME has officially thrown down the gauntlet, nominating Liam Gallagher for ‘Villain Of The Year’ and Beady Eye for ‘Worst Band Of The Year’ in the 2012 NME Awards. The catch? His brother Noel Gallagher has received nods for ‘Best Solo Artist’, ‘Best Album Of The Year’ and ‘Hero Of The Year’ – we smell controversy tweets!
Other nominees in the annual awards include two members of Muse for ‘Hottest Male’, Muse for ‘Best British Band’ and Muse for ‘Best Live Band’.
Winners of the publicly voted awards will be announced at the O2 Academy in Brixton on February 29th. Head here to have your say.
