Jónsi to score anotherCameron Crowe film

The cynical among us may have noticed Cameron Crowe’s latest work We Bought a Zoo hit cinemas recently and marvelled at how cheesy the feel-good film looks. Corny movie maybe, but it comes with one big redeeming feature: a typically-lovely score from Sigur Ros frontman Jonsi.
Now, Indiewire reports that Jónsi is set to score another Cameron Crowe film. The as yet untitled production is still being written, but is reported to be a comedy.
It looks like contributing to the silver screen is a growing interest for Jónsi – last year, Sigur Rós released Inni, a live film that premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
This latest project will be the third time the Icelandic musician and Crowe have collaborated – Sigur Rós contributed three tracks to the director’s Vanilla Sky soundtrack and Crowe and Jónsi co-wrote the We Bought a Zoo track Gathering Stories.
In the (probably lengthy) wait for the new score, you can check out the new video for Gathering Stories below.
