Coachella has announced its complete 2012 lineup, and it turns out those Radiohead rumours were true afterall. Taking place for the first time ever across two weekends (April 13-15 and April 20-22) the lineup also includes a reformed Refused, Pulp,The Black Keys, The Shins and At The Drive-In.

Ben and Jerry's is just ridiculously expensive here though. It's great, but there are plenty of other ice creams which are equivalent and several dollars cheaper.

I don't mind an hour bus ride...will prob be jet lagged anyway so will just zone out and watch the scenery go by & stare at people on the bus :) I didn't want to spend ALL my time right in LA but didn't want to stray too far either, so figured I'd check out SM for a few days..

They have great gig venues but I am sure you already knew that.
Apart from that Griffith Observatory and La Brea tar pits are pretty cool. Dodger Stadium is a good night or day out.

ATDI should be in fine form by Coachella, they are playing a few Texas shows to warm up. Just managed to buy tickets to their show in Austin on Monday night, which just came out of nowhere and tickets were on sale (and sold out) immediately. Somehow I managed to check my email at the right time and catch the announcement in time. Going to be the best $20 I've spent in a while.

You can guarantee there will be more people at the festival between 9:45 and 11 than from 11:30 onwards.

As far as the main stage lineup goes, it would be crazy to put Swedish House Mafia in between Arctic Monkeys, Pulp and The Black Keys. That would be ridiculous.

Yep, wrapped a month ago. They return to filming in July for a late August/September start of season. BUt right now they have no confirmation of a fourth season, especially since the only people on four-season contracts are the Russo siblings and Joel McHale. Everyone else, including crew, are looking for jobs until the show gets renewed.

Likewise: Alison Brie has Mad Men and a bi-monthy gig with any modelling agency she wants, McHale does The Soup, Dean Pelton wins Oscars and Ken Jeong gets typecast in blockbusters. Most of the actors should be fine.
