Courtney Love: “Foo Fightersare gay”

Recently Courtney Love has bailed on the Soundwave 2012 lineup and claimed that she’s owed about $250 million dollars of ‘missing’ Nirvana money, but just in case you had any lingering doubt that she has an ‘interesting’ relationship with reality you might want to check out the footage from Hole’s set at the SWU Festival in Brazil.

According to Antiquiet, early in Hole’s set at Love asked for “a chapstick for my herpes sore; ” babbled about how most of Billy Corgan’s Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness are about her; called Corgan an asshole; flashed her breasts; and claimed that she’s allowed to use the word “fag” because she’s “a gay icon.” Just an ordinary Hole show really.

Then Courtney spotted a punter holding up a picture of Kurt Cobain and lectured the crowd: “I don’t need to see a picture of Kurt, asshole, and I’m going to have you fucking removed if you keep throwing that up. I’m not Kurt – I have to live with his shit, his ghost, his kid every day. Throwing that up is stupid and rude and I’ll beat the fuck out of you if you do it again. You weren’t fucking married to him, I was. You didn’t get kicked out of a band by him, like Dave, he did. Go see the fucking Foo Fighters and do that shit.”

She then stormed off of the stage leaving her guitarist to urged the crowd to chant “Foo Fighters are gay” in order for Love to return to the stage. When she finally decided to return she threw another insult in Grohl’s direction, telling the crowd, “I don’t care what you listen to at home, but if a guy takes off money off my kid’s table, fuck him.”
