We finally have a preview of the madness that is William Shatner’s forthcoming double album Searching for Major Tom. Shatner’s version of Black Sabbath’s Iron Man with Zakk Wylde guesting on guitar and backing vocals has been released into the world, ahead of the album’s October release date, and we’ll never be the same again.

The concept album of science fiction related covers also includes an updated version of Shatner’s famed version Rocket Man, which he performed back in 1978 at The Science Fiction Film Awards, and will also feature guest appearances by Peter Frampton, Bootsy Collins, Alan Parsons, Johnny Winter, Toots Hibbert plus members of The Kinks, Deep Purple, Yes and Tangerine Dream.
