The Vaccines make NME's dreamscome true

The Vaccines’ latest project is even more exciting than the second albums from Gay Dad, The Pidgeon Detectives and The Twang combined.

Keen to avoid the NME hype curse, the recent Splendour visitors have teamed up with The Strokes Albert Hammond Jr. for the new track Tiger Blood. The NME dream team recorded the song over two days at Hammond Jr’s studio in New York, although there’s no word yet as to when the collaborative effort will be released.

The Vaccines’ frontman Justin Young told NME that “we’re in a place now where we’re trying to think about what we wanna do for the next record. We really like the idea of working with other creative people and obviously, being a massive fan of The Strokes, it wasn’t something we were gonna say no to”.
