Motley Crue Vs punters withcameras

Planning to film the Motley Crue shows from the crowd when they tour in September? Think again.

At a Crue show in Maryland on the weekend bassist Nikki Sixx leapt from the stage to attack a punter who was filming the gig on a professional looking camera. Sixx apparently saw the camera and asked the fan to hand it over. When the punter he refused, Sixx took matters into his own hands and jumped into the crowd closely followed by the band’s security team.

According to RockStarWeekly, Motley Crue have recently beefed-up their security and only allowed professional photographers and media to shoot from the sound board rather than the pit in front of the stage. And on recent tours when photographers have been allowed in the pit they’ve been limited to shooting only from the opposite side of the stage from Sixx.

Budding photographers – consider yourself warned.

Jumping into the crowd to take someone's camera. People ARE warned not to take professional cameras into shows, unless they have a pass, the guy had it coming. Point and shoot cameras are fine.
