Sly Stone returns for hisfirst record in nearly 30years

After living as a recluse on welfare for nearly three decades Sly Stone is back with his first record since 1982′s Ain’t But The One Way.

The aptly titled I’m Back! Family & Friends will be released in August and although the album only features three new songs it does include guest appearances from the Doors’ keyboardist Ray Manzarek, Heart frontwoman Ann Wilson, guitarists Jeff Beck and Johnny Winter and bass genius Bootsy Collins.
