Arctic Monkey’s censored inthe USA

Arctic Monkeys’ singer Alex Turner has told Xfm that the fairly bland cover of their fourth album , Suck it and See, has not “traveled very well” in America and now sports a sticker over that oh-so-naughty title. Turner claims that “They think it is rude, disrespectful they’re putting a sticker over it in America in certain stores, big ones.”
The album, which, FL’s review says “finds the correct balance between British veneer and American grunt with excellent results”, joins a long list of albums that have been censored in the States including Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Mother’s Milk, U2’s Actung Baby and Nirvana’s Nevermind.
