Bullshit reunion rumour: TheStone Roses

Ah… The Sun such an amazing and reliable source of information!
Their latest claim to infamy? This week they reported that the Stone Roses’ singer Ian Brown and guitarist John Squire had “buried the hatchet” at the funeral of bassist Mani’s mother and that a “megabucks reunion” was on the cards for later this year.
However a furious Mani has denied the report: “I’m disgusted that my personal grief has been invaded and hijacked by these nonsensical stories,” he told NME, “two old friends meeting up after 15 years to pay their respects to my mother does not constitute the reformation of The Stone Roses. Please fuck off and leave it alone. It isn’t true and isn’t happening.”
Who will The Sun reunite next? It has been a while since a Smiths rumour hit the web…
