Jack White: “I won’t joinanother band again”
Tue 22nd Feb, 2011 in International News
Not long after the dramatic announcement released by Jack and Meg White that the White Stripes has come to an end, White has gone on to claim that he can’t see himself joining any other bands in the future.
For a good few years the singer guitarist appeared to be collecting bands as The Raconteurs formed in 2005 and The Dead Weather made their debut in 2009, yet White now dismisses the idea of starting up any more groups.
In an interview with Q, White says that he is being kept busy with The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather and that he is open to the possibility of going solo. White explains that “I won’t join another band again. Three’s enough for one lifetime. If I can’t say it in any of these bands, then I’ll say it by myself”.
