New Black Keys album byspring?

It’s looking likely that Australia won’t get a Brothers tour from The Black Keys and that we won’t get to see the duo until they’re touring their next album.
In January, just weeks before the start of the Big Day Out tour, the band cancelled all scheduled tour dates citing the “arduous year of touring [which] drained the band”, but a few Grammy wins and drummer Patrick Carney’s recent engagement seem to have revitalised the duo. They’re planning on heading to their new studio in Nashville next month to begin recording the follow-up to Brothers.
Last week, Dan Auerbach told the Cleveland.com that “If all goes well, a new Black Keys album could be out by the fall”, while Carney declared that he’s “really excited about recording… When you spend a year on tour, it’s all about performing, which is creative in its own way, I guess. But you don’t have a real creative outlet, like making a record.”
