KoL, Arcade Fire, Kanyeheadline Coachella 2011

The staggeringly massive lineup Coachella 2011 has been revealed with sets from Arcade Fire, Kanye West, The Strokes, Animal Collective, PJ Harvey, The National, Bright Eyes, Robyn, Ariel Pink, Interpol, Crystal Castles, Ms Lauryn Hill, Sleigh Bells, Cee-Lo, Lightning Bolt, Best Coast, and the Chemical Brothers making a flight to California seem vitally important. Even the exhausted Black Keys have found room for the festival on their schedule.
Australia is represented on the bill by Empire of the Sun, Angus and Julia Stone, Gypsy and the Cat and a trio of Modular acts – Cut Copy, The Presets and Tame Impala – but the big news is the surprise appearance of two reunited acts on the bill. Death From Above 1979 returning to the stage for the first time since 2006 and Big Audio Dynamite reforming after fourteen years to play at the festival (below Mumford and Sons and Empire of the Sun, huh?)
The festival be held at the Empire Polo Field in California from April 15-17.
