New Sex Pistols music?

The five Sex Pistols reunions since the band ‘broke up‘ in 1978, have seen John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and original bassist Glen Matlock playing old material and cover songs, but Lydon now says that a possible sixth reunion could include new material.
Inspired by the recent PiL reunion shows, which haven’t yet made it to Australia, Lydon told Stereogum that he’s keen to reunite with the Pistols. “I’ve been able to get P.I.L. back together, and because I’ve really been in a songwriting mode, I can now look back on the Pistols and imagine writing with them, too,” Lydon explained. “I wouldn’t have been able to think about that if I hadn’t gotten the P.I.L. thing going again”.
“If [Sex Pistols] want me to go out on tour with them I’m happy to oblige … until three weeks later when I’m not,” Lydon laughed. “That’s how it is. You forget the wars and the personal hates over time, until something happens … like a tour … and you remember all over again”.
