Me First and the Gimme Gimmescover Aussies

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes guitarist Joey Cape recently told FasterLouder that the band’s EP of Australian covers “was meant to be out in time for our tour to Australia but I’m not sure that’ll happen now” and was very cagey about revealing any of the tracks the bands has tackled.

The details have now been officially confirmed and although there’s sadly no Kylie cover to be found at least we get to hear Me First tackling Olivia Newton-John and auditioning for JD Fourtune’s role in INXS.

We’re sure to hear some of the five tracks on the EP when the punk covers act tours with the No Sleep Til festival this month, but the EP won’t be officially released until the 1st of February.
