Foo Fighters have confirmed alive return to the stage to play their first live shows since 2008 by announcing a pair of shows at the 65,000 capacity Milton Keynes Bowl in England on the 2nd and 3rd of July next year.
Both concerts will be supported by Muse’s Australian tour partners Biffy Clyro with Death Cab For Cutie and Tame Impala opening the first show and Jimmy Eat World and Supergrass spin off group The Hot Rats taking the honours on the second night.
Dave Grohl revealed in March that the Foo Fighters had begun work on their follow up to 2007’s Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace with Nevermind producer Butch Vig joining the band in the studio.
The Foos leadman, who was recently shocked by the sight of stray Scissor Sisters scrotum , has claimed that the new album will be the Foos’ heaviest album yet
Foo Fighters last toured Australia in 2008, but they are rumoured to be returning to our shores in the first half of the new year.
