No Doubt Australian tour?

With the recent completion of their 2009 US reunion tour and a new album just over the horizon, the chances of an Australian No Doubt tour are looking better than ever. According to bassist Tony Kanal, a revitalised No Doubt will tour internationally in support of their upcoming album.
Whilst chatting to Billboard.com at front-woman Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 runway show in New York, Kanal confirmed that the So-Cal outfit would “absolutely” tour again, stating “I think it’ll be even bigger, and when I say bigger I mean more shows and around the world.”
He went on to describe the positive atmosphere in the studio, explaining that the lengthy hiatus has only served to reinvigorate the spirit of the band and that they are “having more fun than [they’ve] ever had writing a record.”
The new record, scheduled for a 2011 release, will be No Doubt’s first full-length studio effort since 2001’s genre-blending Rock Steady, which the band toured with a run of performances in Australia in 2002.
If their enthusiasm is anything to go by, the record and ensuing live shows promise to be something special.
