Big Four at Sonisphere comingto DVD

If you didn’t happen to be holidaying in Bulgaria when the ‘Big Four’ of metal played Sonisphere, never fear. The historic coming together of Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax has been immortalised on DVD, just in time for Christmas stockings.
The Big Four Live From Sofia is released on 29 October with a bunch of extra trimmings, while super-fans can go for the ‘super deluxe’ box set option. It will certainly be interesting to see how much behind-the-scenes fratenising (or indeed earnest discussion of who the real headliner is) makes it onto the extras.
Metallica of course kicked off their industrious Australian arena tour this week. After the three September shows, they jet off to Japan before returning for the bulk of the dates. So, who was there at Rod Laver Arena? Did the awesome abound?
