A Perfect Circle confirmreunion tour
Tue 14th Sep, 2010 in International News
After teasing fans with tweets earlier this year, A Perfect Circle has announced its return to the stage.
The band, founded by Maynard James Keenan and Billy Howerdel, has been on hiatus since 2004 with no clear indication as to when it would end. Now, as reported by Blabbermouth, the supergroup has awoken from its 6 year slumber and will take to the road on a five-city tour across the American west coast sometime this spring (their autumn).
Though there has been no word yet on specific dates, the band has promised something special for their patient fans. Stops in Phoenix, Seattle, Las Angeles and San Francisco will consist of 3 shows each, with every night featuring a different one of A Perfect Circle’s three albums ( Mer de Noms, Thirteenth Step, and eMOTIVe ). Las Vegas however will only be a 2 night outing, the band instead choosing to ignore eMOTIVe. Additionally, there will be a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on October 27th.
Touring alongside Keenan and Howerdel will be past A Perfect Circle members Josh Freese ( Weezer, Devo ) and James Iha (ex-*Smashing Pumpkins* ), as well as Matt McJunkins ( Ashes Divide, Puscifer ).
