James McCartney to releasedebut EP

Paul McCartney’s 33 year old son James McCartney is set to release a debut five EP, Available Light on Tuesday 21st September featuring a cover of Neil Young’s Old Man.

James, who has appeared on some of his old man’s albums, offers up four original songs on the EP and plays electric guitars, acoustic, mandolin, piano and bass.

Proud dad Paul co-produced the EP with David Kahne, who is known for his work with The Strokes, over a two-year period in the States and at London’s Abbey Road Studios.
