Slipknot unsure about futureof band

Slipknot’s lead vocalist Corey Taylor claims that it “doesn’t make sense” for the band to continue following the death of bassist Paul Gray from an accidental overdose on morphine and fentanyl.
The frontman has told US radio station FMQB that he’s “very conflicted about whether or not I want to do anything with Slipknot, because to me, Paul was such an integral part of the band… I don’t want to make any statements that [will make me] look like a fool in retrospect, but to me, right now, it just doesn’t make sense [to carry on with the band]. Until it does, that’s the way it stays for me.”
However Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison – the best drummer in the world – has revealed that he and Shawn ‘Clown’ Crahan have discussed the future of the group. Crahan was a founding member of the masked metal outfit, playing with Jordison and Gray since 1995,
“We’re starting to map out the game plan right now,” Jordison explained, “There is another Slipknot record already kinda in the making. You know, we’re getting timelines set and, you know, it’s gonna be a little bit but there’s definitely another record. Paul would always want us to make another record. He wouldn’t want the band to stop — Slipknot was his life.”
