Black Sabbath reunion “ayear or two” away?

According to Ozzy Osbourne a Black Sabbath reunion could happen in the next two years.

Osbourne and Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi recently resolved their legal battle over the ownership of the Black Sabbath name prompting masslive.com to ask Osbourne if the end to the legal battle could open the door for a Black Sabbath reunion.

“It’s not going to happen for at least a year or two”, Ozzy explained “because I’ve got my tour and an album to do, whatever. But it’s not added to the realms of never ever.”

“I would be a liar if I said to you I wouldn’t want to do the ultimate Black Sabbath album,” he continued, “I would love to do, absolutely love to do a really great monumental Black Sabbath album.”

Ozzy was keen to stress that a reunion would have to involve all four original members: “I spoke to Tony Iommi about three weeks ago, I spoke to Geezer [Butler, bass player] about a week ago, I speak to [drummer] Bill Ward all the time. But I won’t do it without the other three … Black Sabbath is four guys as far as I’m concerned. We all depend on each other.”

The original four piece lineup reunited with Osbourne in 1997 and released the live album, Reunion.
