One Day As A Lion to make livedebut
Tue 13th Jul, 2010 in International News
One Day As A Lion, the collaboration between Rage Against The Machine’s Zack de la Rocha and The Mars Volta drummer Jon Theodore will finally make a live debut this weekend.
The duo is set to play two shows in California at as yet undisclosed locations, joined by Joey Karam from The Locust on keyboard.
These shows are a warm up for the band’s set at the Fuji Rock Festival in on Saturday 31st July.
One Day As A Lion released a self-titled five-track EP in 2008 and though de la Rocha hinted that a at a full length album would quickly follow the EP he seems to have been tootied up with the Rage Against the Machine reunion to release more music as One Day As A Lion.
Hopefully these live shows indicate that a One Day As A Lion album – and perhaps an Australian tour – isn’t totally out of the question.
