UNKLE collaborate with NickCave
Wed 7th Jul, 2010 in International News
UNKLE have confirmed a collaboration with Nick Cave on their next album, which they hope to release as early as February.
Though they just released Where Did The Night Fall last month, the boys are already discussing their next album, to be titled Day Fall. Speaking about Night Fall, UNKLE told BBC 6 news that the album is like part one and the next will be its companion.
Their most recent album has been well-received, prompting one FasterLouder reviewer to write, “…the loud/quiet dynamic and the guest vocalists and collaborators are ever present, but the band continues to expand their scope by finding more interesting ways to marry them…Where the Night Falls is moody, atmospheric, dark, jarring and beautiful all at once.”
No word yet as to who else will be working with UNKLE on Day Fall, but Nick Cave has contributed vocals to a track that the band described as a “glam stomper.”
