Karen O on TV On The Radioside project

A few weeks ago TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek announced that he was releasing a ‘solo’ record titled Maximum Balloon, and now he has revealed the full list of guests lending assistance on the album.
The album is due out in late August and will feature the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O, Yukimi Nagano from Little Dragon, recent Australian visitor Holly Miranda and rapper Theophilus London.
Sitek’s TV On The Radio bandmates Tunde Adebimpe and Kyp Malone will also be heard on the album.
Sitek told the NME that “It is predominantly a dance record. The songs are really immediate and every one of them comes on real strong. I had total freedom when I was making this record so when I was recording it, it felt like I was putting everything into one basket and letting it float off into space.”
The first single from the album, Tiger, features Dragons of Zynth’s Aku Orraca-Tetch and can be downloaded from the Maximum Balloon website
