Radiohead's Phil Selway torelease solo album

Radiohead’s drummer Phil Selway has moved from the kit to pick up a guitar and release a debut solo record.
The album Familial, will feature contributions from Wilco’s Glenn Kotche and Pat Sansone, Lisa Germano and ex-Soul Coughing bassist Sebastian Steinberg.
Selway contributed two songs to last year’s 7 Worlds Collide album, The Sun Came Out, alongside tracks from Jeff Tweedy, Johnny Marr, Bic Runga, Glenn Richards and Neil Finn.
The two songs debuted on the 7 Worlds Collide album, The Ties That Bind Us and The Witching Hour, also feature on Familial.
The album, produced by Radiohead collaborator Ian Davenport and recorded at the band’s Oxfordshire Courtyard Studios, is set to be released on Tuesday 31 August.
