Slipknot bassist found dead

US police have reported that Paul Gray, the bassist for metal masters Slipknot, has been found dead in his hotel room.
The body of the 38 year old musician was discovered by a hotel employee at the Town Plaza Hotel in Urbandale, a suburb of Des Moines where many of Slipknot’s band members grew up and still reside.
Police have said that they have no reason to suspect foul play, however a toxicology report and autopsy will be completed in the next few days.
Slipknot was last down under in October of 2008, when the band brought its spectacular stage show replete with fire, scissor lift drum kits, and masked mayhem to their Australian fans.
