New Arcade Fire songs

The Arcade Fire posted a postcard on their website, during the week noting that the band was “Just finishing up pressing our new 12” [which]should be in stores in the next couple weeks. God willing.”
That 12” record features the single The Suburbs and the flipside Month of May, and brief snippets of both songs are currently streaming on the band’s website.
According to triple j, the band has been working in the studio with producer Nick Launay (Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kate Bush, Talking Heads, Lou Reed) and has recorded and mixed 38 songs for potential inclusion on the new album.
