Muse, Eagles, Strokes forAustin City Limits

The ninth Austin City Limits festival has announced an eclectic line up aiming to please everyone from aging hippies to indie kids to whoever it is that listens to Slightly Stoopid.

The Strokes, M.I.A., Muse, LCD Soundsystem, Flaming Lips, Vampire Weekend and The National have been announced as the headliners at this year’s event, which takes place between October 8-10 at Zilker Park in Austin, Texas.

The older members of the crowd are catered for by the presence of The Eagles, Phish and the new Band of Horses album, while newer sounds are also well represented with White Rabbits, Two Door Cinema Club, Yeasayer, Local Natives, Girls and The xx all earning a place on the bill.

Three-day passes for the festival sold out in mere hours when they went on sale in October last year, but single-day tickets for the festival are still available.
