Sonic lecture for the youth

Sonic Youth recently made a foray into the world of teen TV with a guest appearance on Gossip Girl, but Thurston Moore has announced that he’ll be aiming at an even younger audience this weekend.
The Sonic Youth frontman will be presenting “a dissertation on white noise” to kids between eight and twelve years as part of a kids’ art program called Avant Garde Preschool held at New York’s Partners & Spade gallery.
Tickets will set the hipster parents of pre-teens back $US30.
