The new ‘Hole’ Nobody’s Daughter record is reportedly filled with “big, crunching, anthemic songs” and heavily features the work of new band member Micko Larkin, formerly of the English indie chancers Larrikin Love.

Former 4 Non Blondes leadwoman turned gun writer for hire, Linda Perry, who worked on Love’s solo record America’s Sweetheart, has also co-written several of the Nobody’s Daughter tracks.

Billy Corgan – one of the best artists in the world – also co-wrote two tracks on the record.

Speaking to The Guardian, Love recently credited her success to her Buddhism. “I started chanting when I was living on Hollywood Boulevard, working as a stripper. Within six months, I got my first million dollars and I didn’t have to strip for bucks any more. Then I met Kurt and we still chanted, but we did a lot of drugs together.”

Though it seems that no amount of chanting could save her recent set at SXSW, which Love declared the ‘worst fucking show of my entire life’.
