Iggy Pop's last stage dive
Wed 24th Mar, 2010 in International News
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Iggy Pop has vowed to never stage dive again after being left battered and bruised by a crowd that refused to catch him.
In a recent concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall, the 62-year-old Stooges frontman went for the dive, only to land flat on the floor.
Speaking with Jam! Showbiz, Iggy said, “When I landed it hurt and I made a mental note that Carnegie Hall would be a good place for my last stage dive. The audience were just like, ‘What are you doing?’”
