Jack White produces wife'salbum
Thu 25th Feb, 2010 in International News
It’s now become a cliché to say Jack White never sleeps, but seriously. In between his myriad musical pursuits – including, most pressingly, the virgin Australian tour of The Dead Weather – the multi-tasker has lent a hand to his wife (zing).
White’s other half, British model Karen Elson, will release her debut album The Ghost Who Walks in a matter of months. It was recorded at her husband’s Third Man Studios, with some contributions from White behind the boards. From Elson’s website, it seems the pair share a certain aesthetic, but in songwriting and voice this looks to be very much a solo record.
In anticipation of the album’s release, Elson has posted a video of herself and a quite useless band performing title track The Ghost Who Walks on a eerie stage set. Admire it below.

Here’s the cover of Serge Gainsbourg’s I Love You (Me Either) that Elson made with Cat Power back in 2006.
